Street-style Coachella festival photos have become a 'must-see' for fashion forecasters, designers and big retail companies - especially the high-street retail giants such as Zara, H&M, and Topshop- so that they can copy and re-produce any major 'flash' fashion trend for the current season SS2013.
With a background in both fashion design and forecasting, I thought I could share with you for today's post some of the looks I particularly like from Coachella festival thus far.
To begin with, I would love seeing picture No 1 as a future or the 'it' fabric print of the near future, as opposed to the very copied and mass-ly worn theme of the 'palm trees'. Just saying... You may as well argue with this!
Also, I am really into anything sheer and it keeps growing in me every single day, so much that I am afraid you are going to see some crazy-lady (moi) walking around like this not too far away from now. No guys, I am just kidding! Or not.... Ok maybe not in Athens, but I will definitely wear the trend during summer vacations in Paros or any other Greek island I visit during summer.
Finally, I loooooove all the possible shapes/sizes/versions of the flower-y sunglasses! The only problem with this is that I have only come across with cheap versions of the aforementioned, which are mostly 'of doubt' quality and I am kind of afraid that by the time I wear them under the Greek hot sun, I am going to loose my sight! I know, it sounds silly but I cannot help thinking this way!
Ant type of shorts- denim shorts, high-waisted shorts, tight shorts, loose shorts, short shorts etc.- as well as hippie accessories, headbands, fringes and Isabel Marant's are always among favourites for a music festival and summer time, so no reason to say anything more about these.
What about you? Have you spotted any big street-style trend from Coachella this year? What is it and will you adopt?
Waiting for your answers!
